By the beginning of February in Vermont, I’m ready to fast-forward to June. If you want to sign your kids up for summer camp, you’ll want to be thinking ahead, too.
True to its name, the Green Mountain State is home to a wide variety of options for summer fun. You’ll find dozens of them in the 2025 Kids VT Camp Guide. Your kids can try windsurfing, mountain biking, rock climbing and building robots, in addition to traditional camp activities such as archery and arts and crafts.
Be forewarned: Spots in popular day camps fill up fast, especially in Chittenden County, so it’s best to act quickly — and get your name on the list for next year if this one doesn’t work out.
It’s also a good idea to visit these camps, doubly so if your kids will be staying overnight. That can help reduce anxiety for first-time campers (and their parents).
We hope you find what you’re looking for here. And if you’re still seeking camp openings this spring, check out campfindervt.com to see which programs have been added since the print guide came out on February 5.
