Pat transitioned peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the McClure Miller Respite House, with his son Brad by his side. A loving father and brother, he was also a character — opinionated, quirky, a dedicated scientist and EQ wizard.
Underhill was his home for the last 40-plus years. Walk in the woods to remember him.

Since we came together at Fordham University and moved off campus together in the mid-sixties, Pat has been a special presence in the lives of our gang. I shared Dr. Winters German class with him in freshman year, purchased his Fordham blazer for $10.00 (which I still have), played golf together with him on Long Island (a school boy champion from Baltimore he had one of the prettiest swings I’ve ever seen), moved into a Bronx suite at Marian Towers, shared an apartment in West Philly when he was transtioning from medical school to graduate school, and videotaped his wedding on Long Island in the eighties, I always cherished Pat as a special part of my college experience and beyond. He was a brilliant, unassuming, and entertaining character whose passing leaves me saddened. Rest in Peace, Pat. You left a special mark in your chosen field and entertained and delighted our gang along the way.
