I started reading the obituaries every day as part of a job I had in fundraising back in 1995. I remember when Kristen died, because she was 10 years younger than me. I’ve seen every remembrance you have shared over the years, and although I didn’t know Kristen or any of her family, I think about her every year and wish I had known someone so clearly adored by her family. Thinking of you all on this tender anniversary.
Will always remember
I knew Kristy as a Rice High School volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. I was a regular “House” volunteer every Sunday afternoon. Kristy always showed up happy and ready to do any chores needed to be done. She loved to engage in conversation. She was special and I enjoyed her as a teenager willing to serve community. I remember her telling me the family Sunday night dinners were special.
