This photo didn’t win, but it’s just so darn cute. It was taken by Emily Franz of Burlington. She writes: “Tikki Franz is a Calico cat around four years old. This picture was taken on Christmas Day, 2009, as Tikki was sunning herself in her Christmas Dress.”

  1. I don't normally condone the practice of putting cats in clothes, but that's one spiffy little lady. If I tried to put my tubby alpha-female calico in a dress she would claw my eyes out.
