The writer mentions the downtown, the waterfront and UVM as reasons to move here, with the caveat that Burlington is cold, and a bit pricey.

Oddly, he doesn’t say anything about how, if you live here for even a short time, you inevitably find yourself connected by one or two degrees of separation to everyone else who lives here. For example, I know the first woman interviewed. We used to play Scrabble together.
