  1. We moved here from WI two years ago for a better quality of life overall. We were attracted to many things the state has to offer. We love it here! It did take some getting used to, New England friendly is not the same as Midwest friendly, haha. Our kids are thriving in their schools, and the local perks, such as great food, amazing beer, and sense of community, are truly fantastic. While nothing is as profoundly incredible as living on the shores of Lake Superior, Lake Champlain is nice and has a spectacular mountain view.

  2. I moved away because Vermonters are just too liberal. I vote for environmental protection, but Vermonters protest everything. Nuclear, wind, hydro, etc. All of them have some negative impact but your energy has to come from somewhere. Too bad for the folks in Brattleboro who lost their jobs. Not to mention state revenue generated by the sale of energy to surrounding states. Vermont yankee had no measurable negative impact. Now wind is being protested for obstructing the view and destroying the mountainside. Hydro killed the Champlain drainage ecosystem. While Vermonters spend millions of dollars on Canadian energy.

  3. Six reasons why people leave Vermont:
-Lack of jobs and too many far-left radicals in the statehouse
