Thousands of Vermonters flocked to hear Bernie Sanders at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction on Super Tuesday night. Pianist Ben Folds played and Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Jerry Greenfield spoke before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage, shortly after the AP announced Sanders won by a landslide in Vermont. Local musicians, including Kat Wright and Brett Hughes, entertained the fired-up crowd.
