As we all do our part to fight the COVID-19 pandemic by practicing social distancing, it’s important to not forget any other medical needs that you may have. Don’t deprioritize your health. Whether it be an illness, injury, or ongoing medical condition that needs attention, know that the emergency departments and urgent, specialty and primary care practices across the UVM Health Network are able to provide the care you may need.
You can access providers through:
- Video
- Telephone
- In-person visits in some cases
Just reach out to your healthcare provider to determine together the best way to address your needs.
If you are healthy, it’s also important to prioritize your wellbeing, especially during stressful times. You’re able to conduct regular wellness visits with the help of technology, so please contact your provider to see if a video appointment is right for you.
If it’s decided that an in-person visit would be best, please be assured that all UVM Health Network facilities are taking the utmost precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure to patients and staff. Health screenings are conducted at the entrances, so that anyone with respiratory complaints can be routed safely to care. Patient waiting areas also allow for proper social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment, such as masks, which are available when needed.
No matter what your healthcare needs may be, UVM Health Network is there for you.
