Diane--the Athenaeum canceled that event this week, after our article published. We deleted it from our calendar but it remained in the article. Sorry about that, and I hope you still get up there to see this remarkable painting!
Maura,
We appreciate your impassioned response to Jordan's column about Mister Sister. After checking in with Jordan and reviewing his reporting -- and talking with Molly Walsh, who covered the Trans Town Hall -- we stand by his account. You're welcome to voice your concerns in a letter to the editor. We'd be happy to give you the opportunity to respond in print.

Hey, here is the gallery's website: http://www.bundymodern.com
Hey, Jill--glad you enjoy reading 7D, whether online or in print! But I have to ask: What is 'inaccurate'--much less 'dishonest'--about saying these are seven Vermont women to watch? They are women, they live in Vermont, and they are awesomely worth 'watching.' We didn't say there weren't any others! Clearly, and happily, there are so, so many more. We chose seven because, well, that's our favorite number. We chose under-40 because we just had to limit the parameters somehow for a single article.
The print paper is distributed over central and northern VT, it is true; it's logistically and financially impractical to send our drivers more than two hours from their pick-up point in Burlington. Similarly, the distance makes it more challenging to be familiar with individuals in southern VT. That's why we really appreciate all these suggestions--believe me, we're saving them! So feel free to keep 'em coming, and thanks again for reading.
As the post notes, the viewing is at 105 Hyde Street.
