I can't resist.

Posted By on Fri, Jan 26, 2007 at 12:19 PM

I know I just posted, but I had to put this up today. Feast your eyes on this real-life '80s commercial for "Synth Coke." It's essentially faux cocaine that you offer in exchange for sexual favors. The company that made it — appropriately titled Buzz Productions — was based in Kittery, Maine. My guess would've been Lewiston. That entire town looks like an abandoned set from "Starsky & Hutch." Since 2014, Seven Days has allowed readers to comment on all stories posted on our website. While we’ve appreciated the suggestions and insights, the time has come to shut them down — at least temporarily.

While we champion free speech, facts are a matter of life and death during the coronavirus pandemic, and right now Seven Days is prioritizing the production of responsible journalism over moderating online debates between readers.
