IN THE SPIRIT

Two words: Baby yoga. Committed to lifelong health and fitness, Evolution Physical Therapy & Yoga starts them young, as early as two months out of the womb. Adults can change their stripes with Vinyasa, Kripalu, Anusara, Iyengar or Ashtanga classes, all designed to tone the body and the spirit with their unique methods. Prenatal classes can focus even the inexperienced, preparing mamas-to-be with time-tested meditation techniques. For the more experienced, the studio also offers private training in the suddenly trendy practice of Gyrotonic®, a cousin of Pilates, which uses an even more baroque-looking apparatus. With so many choices, we’ll have to do some evolving just to keep up.
