Keurig Green Mountain — Formerly called Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, this publicly traded company is one of Vermont's largest, founded in 1981. The biz has focused on the popular single-cup, or "K-Cup," brewing system. Tourists flock to the café and visitor center, built in an old train station in Waterbury.
