It's March 17, St. Patrick's Day. We're celebrating here at Seven Days by... eating.
This morning, a delivery-person from the Bagel Cafe and Deli on North Ave. dropped off our weekly deadline-day bagel shipment. I opened the bag and discovered this green specimen, presumably in honor of the holiday.
Also discovered these tasty chocolate pretzel sticks in the staff kitchen this morning. Personals and Classifieds Coordinator Ashley Brunelle made them last night and brought 'em in to share. She's so crafty!
Oooh, and Allison Davis brought in Irish soda bread. Score.
If you're in Burlington, check out the annual S.D. Ireland Cement Mixer parade at 3 p.m. downtown. Here's a video from last year.
And tonight, Seven Days designer Rev. Diane Sullivan will be at Red Square in Burlington, hosting the 5th annual "Everybody's Favorite Irish Drinking Song Band" night, from 6-8 p.m. Here's the listing from the Seven Days calendar, and here's the invite on Facebook.
