Charlotte Phillips Brigham, age 84 years, a lifelong resident of Franklin and Grand Isle Counties died Thursday October 30, 2014, in the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington.
Born in Enosburgh Falls, Vermont on January 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Ellen Charlotte (Croft) Phillips. She attended Bellows Free Academy-Saint Albans and was married to Lawrence Westover who predeceased her. She later married Willis Brigham who also predeceased her.
Charlotte lived several years in Alburgh and was a member of the former Alburgh Congregational Church serving as treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Bridge Club and the Ladies Golf League. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter Susan Rustic and companion Dick Glode of Plattsburgh, New York; two brothers, William Phillips and his wife Sandy of Saint Albans and John Phillips of Florida; a grandson, Jason Rustic and wife April of Bristol, Connecticut and two great grandchildren, Savannah and Fiona Rustic as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, Charlotte was predeceased by her only son, Larry Westover; a brother, Lyndon Phillips and a sister, Cherry "Jerry" Wait.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday November 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton. The Reverend Daniel Brueckner will officiate. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public calling hours.
