11/21/15: Jean Cross has always loved animals and over the years has adopted an assortment of 13 creatures big and small, many of them requiring special attention. Mr. Baggins was a very shy pony who came to Spread Too Thin Farm in Ferrisburgh a year and a half ago. Slowly Jean has worked with Baggins, helping him to acclimate to his new home and accept some human handling. Eva met the rowdy equine crew which includes two miniature horses named Twinkles and Mr. Orion, a retired draft horse named Zeke, blind Anna Mule and the elusive Mr. Baggins.
You can follow Baggins' adventures online at the Horse Collaborative where Jean (AKA Hay Feeder) translates farm tales for Twinks the mini horse.
Music: Bert Hirsch, "You Brought a New Kind of Love to Me" and Vincent Lopez, "My Fate is in Your Hands"
