Judy A. Langlois, age 72 years, a resident of 8 Lake Street in Swanton Village passed away late Thursday evening September 18, 2014, at the Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center in the presence of loving family.
Judy was born in Burlington, Vermont on May 23, 1942, the daughter of the late Lawrence Langlois and Lauretta Brosseau.
She was employed for several years with Care Partners of Saint Albans and enjoyed interacting with all of those participating in the Care Partners Program. Judy loved her vegetable garden and watching all the birds that came to her feeders. She was a caring, fun person to all of her family and friends.
Judy leaves her good friend, John Carson of Swanton; her children, Sherry Johnson and fiancé Mark Wheelock of Swanton, John Langlois and fiancée Tammy Robare of Milton and Todd Langlois and fiancée Vicki McDonald of East Fairfield; grandchildren, Kristy Lee Hulbert and partner Sherry Trayah of Burlington, Christele Robare and fiancé Leon Larrabee of Milton and Lindy and Lucas of East Fairfield; great granddaughter Auryiana Hope of Milton; her siblings, Patricia Blondin of Burlington, Helen Wilcox of Ellenburg Depot, New York, Clarinda Young of Swanton, Richard, Paul, Rene, Peter, Michael, John and James Brosseau all of Colchester as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by a brother Robert Langlois of Kennebunk, Maine.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday September 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton. Father Luke P. Austin will officiate. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Saint Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
