The past week has been a whirlwind for many Americans as the global pandemic changes life as we know it. In Vermont, as in the rest of the country, many of us are stuck at home, doing our best to self-distance and flatten the curve of the coronavirus. Social media has become a place where people can connect and find community now that all events and gathering places have been shut down.
We asked you to share your coping mechanisms with us as you shelter in place. And you delivered big time with music, photos and videos that displayed the #Vermontstong spirit. Eva also FaceTimed with a brother and sister who have been overcoming social distancing since before it was the norm. For six years, the siblings have shared a weekly meal with each other from their homes in Vermont and Florida. Last weekend was the #273 Dinnernet. If Sean and Kelley can do it, the rest of us can make it, too. Hang in there, everyone, and be well.
